The Palatine Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2025 proudly honors four inductees whose legacies with the Pirates are deeply connected. Among them is Coach Nalley, a beloved figure in both the GBS Football and Track & Field programs, now celebrated for his remarkable contributions to Palatine athletics.

Coach Nalley served as head coach of the Palatine boys’ track and field team from 1992 to 2022, continuing a storied tradition of excellence. Over his 31-year tenure, Nalley’s leadership and passion shaped generations of athletes, guiding them to success at the highest levels of competition.

Track & Field Legacy Highlights:

• Coached 5 individual state champions: Erik Dieckman, Chris Hercules, Mat Smoody, Alec Bollman, and Jake LaRocca
• Mentored 29 state medalists, including 24 individual medalists and 5 state medal relay teams
• Led his final team to victory at the prestigious Palatine Relays
• Served as a dedicated assistant football coach, contributing to the broader athletic community
