For the 8th time in school history, the Titans are State Bound! The boys finished 4th in one of the top sectionals in the state, earning a trip to Detweiler next Saturday. The team was led by a 3rd place finish from Junior Lopez (14:41), a 9th place finish from Frankie Hackl (14:47), and a 16th place finish from Jack Lyons (15:01). Ryan Taylor (15:27) and Mark Uksov (15:55) rounded out the scoring with 40th and 74th place finishes, respectively. All five scoring titans PRed! With their times today, the boys officially have the fastest team in school history — by over 15 seconds!

Frankie’s 14:47 is the 5th fastest 3-mile time in school history and the second fastest time ever run by a GBS athlete at Busse Woods!

Jack’s 15:01 is the 9th fastest 3-mile time in school history and the third fastest time ever run by a GBS athlete at Busse Woods!

Ryan’s 15:27 is the 19th fastest 3-mile time in school history and the fourth fastest time ever run by a GBS athlete at Busse Woods!

Mark’s 15:55 earned him a spot as the 77th member of the prestigious “Sub 16 Club” making him the second fastest freshman in school history!
